Bad news! The canon MP-E 65mm f/2.5 1-5x Macro lens is no more! This lens was released 23 years ago and it was one of the best lenses for macro photography.

It is known to macro photography users that it has 1:1 to 5:1 magnification. Any macro lens can get close to the object but this one can get closer.
It has a minimum focus distance of around 23.8 cm. In the dental field it is not one of the most used lenses but, any macro photographer will get the advantage of having this MFD (min. Focus distance)

Right now this lens is no more, which means no more production but a stock available in the market.
In the dental field, the most used lenses are the 100mm, whether EF or RF lenses.
